Role Overview: Project Manager / Project Coordinator
The Project Manager leads, directs, and executes complex Control System projects, including manufactured and fabricated customer orders. This role takes full ownership of project deliverables, ensuring they are accurate, complete, traceable, and delivered on time and within scope.
As a strategic leader, you will guide cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, and Quality. You will drive project success by owning day-to-day project coordination, schedule management, milestone tracking, risk mitigation, and client communication, while overseeing the project’s controlled document environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management, Execution & Client Communication
- Lead, direct, and execute complex control system projects from kickoff to final delivery, taking full ownership of project timelines, client satisfaction, and success.
- Serve as the primary and central point of contact for the customer, managing all project communications, updates, status reporting, and alignment of client expectations with internal technical execution.
- Lead project kickoffs and progress meetings with both clients and internal stakeholders to establish clear deliverables, due dates, responsibilities, and workflows.
- Oversee and optimize core project control tools:
- Project schedules and milestone trackers.
- Risk assessment registers and mitigation plans.
- Action-item, decision, and change-order logs.
- Proactively manage project scope changes, missing inputs, or overdue milestones, escalating risks when necessary to ensure there is no impact on client delivery dates.
- Guide cross-functional inputs and collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain without direct authority.
Documentation & Process Control
- Oversee the coordination and control of critical project documentation required for complex customer orders.
- Manage the controlled document environment (processes, templates, revision control, permissions, and distribution schemes) to comply with both internal and customer-specific standards.
- Ensure all customer-facing and vendor-facing documentation follows strict formats, templates, and submission rules (including the use of customer portals).
- Supervise the compilation and delivery of final data books and documentation packages for final approval by the client.

Education & Experience Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Formal studies or certifications in Project Management are highly desired.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project or PP365 to drive and manage project timelines.
- Familiarity with project/work management and reporting tools (Open Projects, Project Planner, Smartsheet, Power BI, etc.).
- Language:
- Fluent English proficiency is required (written and spoken).
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in project management, project coordination, or project controls roles, with demonstrated experience in direct client interaction.
- Experience delivering Industrial Control Systems (ICS) projects within the Oil & Gas or Water & Wastewater (W&WW) industries is strongly preferred.
